Second Gaza Pilgrim Dies in Riots

(IsraelNN.com) An elderly Arab woman from Gaza has died of a heart attack, Arab sources reported Tuesday. The woman, 67-year-old Khadra Massoud, died during riots in the Egyptian town of El-Arish on Monday.

The Gaza Arabs, most of them returning from a pilgrimage to Mecca, are angry over Egyptian attempts to force them to return to Gaza via a crossing controlled by Israel and not the Hamas-controlled Rafiah crossing. Several Hamas terrorists have reportedly infiltrated the group of pilgrims, and fear that they will be arrested if forced to return via an Israeli crossing.

Pilgrims rioted on Sunday night as well as they returned to Gaza via the Erez crossing. IDF soldiers fired on rioters who approached their position, killing one 55-year-old woman.
