Czech Jews to Protest Fascist March

(IsraelNN.com) Jews in the Czech city of Pilsen will hold a vigil outside the Great Synagogue, where a fascist group plans to march.  The march is scheduled for January 19, one day before the 66th anniversary of the first transport of Jews from Pilsen to the Terezin concentration camp.  Only 112 Jews survived, out of a community of 2,605.

The leader of the extreme-right party says the march, which is expected to garner almost 200 attendees, is in reaction to the prevention of a neo-Nazi demonstration in the Jewish Quarter of Prague in November.  The Jewish protestors are expected to number in the hundreds.
