Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said at the weekly Sunday morning cabinet meeting that Israel would not relax its security measures if the Palestinian Authority officials would not raise theirs.
"As long as the PA won't take the necessary precautions to fight against the (terrorist) cells, Israel won't decrease security so as not to expose its borders to any dangers," he said.
The statement came following the murder Friday of two off-duty IDF soldiers by a group of terrorists while the two victims and a friend were hiking near Telem Spring.
