The wealthiest Jew in the world met with Shas party chairman and Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor, Eli Yishai, as well as with Yisrael Beiteinu party chairman and Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman over the weekend to discuss their roles in the government coalition.

Sheldon Adelson, owner of the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas reportedly tried to convince Yishai and Lieberman to quit the government. Neither agreed to leave.
