Israel, PA to Negotiate on Monday

Israeli and Palestinian Authority negotiating teams will meet on Monday to continue discussions over the establishment of a PA state in Judea and Samaria.  Monday’s meeting will be the second since the Annapolis conference.

PA negotiators have insisted that Israel give the PA all territories that were under Jordanian rule between 1948 and 1967, including the Tomb of the Patriarchs, the Temple Mount, and other holy Jewish sites.  The PA insists that the areas be free of Jews, and has complained that Israel continues to allow Jewish construction in areas which the PA wishes to use as part of a new Arab Muslim state.
