The curriculum in 500 high schools has been changed to include a mandatory program aimed at ending draft-dodging.
The program, created by a team from the IDF and Education and Defense Ministries, is set up to encourage enlistment especially in combat units through development of a stronger Zionist identity and sense of community among Israeli teens.
Next year the program is expected to expand into additional high schools.
