(IsraelNN.com) MK Rabbi Benny Elon (NU/NRP) said Wednesday that MK Yoram Marciano (Labor) must have been in a silly mood when he asked the government to transfer all Jews out of the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood in Lod.

"I cannot bring myself to believe that he meant what he said," Elon told Arutz 7. Elon said that Marciano's statement was a result of the Annapolis process and reminded the listeners that PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas said he could not recognize Israel as a Jewish state because of the Arabs who live inside it.

"This is precisely the Arab strategy. First create an Arab state in Judea and Samaria and then Israel's Arabs will create an additional Arab state. Marciano is making that dream a reality," Elon stated.
