The Knesset Labor Committee authorized unanimously a law that increases the compensation of an employee fired due to reserve duty.
The new figure that an employer will be required to pay is 100,000 shekels.
“There is no room for leniency and faint-heartedness when dealing with the harming of our reserve soldier, who risk their lives for the country,” said MK Alex Miller (Yisrael Beiteinu), who sponsored the bill along with MK Chaim Katz (Likud).
