The Homesh First movement issued a response to the report on the welfare of those expelled from their homes during the Disengagement calling upon the government to return the evictees to their communities.
“[Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert and the failed government responsible for the scandalous neglect of the expellees and lack of solutions for them must repay the wasted funds to the state from their own money,” the group said.
“It has been proven once more, now from an economic perspective, that it would be much cheaper to rebuild the destroyed communities that were destroyed, including in northern Samaria, anew.”
