(IsraelNN.com) In response to renewed talk among higher Israeli security echelons that Arab rocket attacks from Gaza must be thwarted by an Israeli ground invasion into the area,  Hamas announced Monday that it is ready to counter attack.  A Hamas spokesperson, interviewed by the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper, said Hamas is 'full of surprises', and is armed with state-of-the-art weaponry.

The terrorist also stated that recent Israeli military operations in Gaza have destroyed a mere 1 percent of Arab Kassam-launching capability. He also stated that Hamas is in constant contact with Iran and the Lebanese terror organization Hizbullah.
