The ruling coalition will face three no-confidence motions on Sunday afternoon.  The government has easily defeated several previous no-confidence votes.

NU/NRP and UTJ are proposing a no-confidence vote due to a recent United States report saying Iran has frozen its nuclear weapons program.  The report shows that Israel’s security officials and diplomats have failed in convincing others of their strategic perspective, the groups said.

Meretz-Yachad and the Arab parties have filed a no-confidence motion due to attempts to limit the kind of cases that can be brought before the Supreme Court.  Likud has filed a no-confidence motion due to problems in the system of education.
