A United States judge declared a mistrial on Thursday for six of seven suspects in a terrorism case.  The seven, known as the “Miami Seven” or “Liberty City Seven,” were accused of plotting attacks against the US and of planning to bomb the Sears Towers in Chicago, FBI offices in Miami, and other targets.

The mistrial was declared after the federal jury deadlocked.  Jurors agreed to acquit one of the defendants.
