The 2008 American Jewish Committee poll, an annual survey of trends in American Jewry, reveals that fewer US Jews support a PLO state than did so last year.  The study, conducted just before the Bush-led Annapolis conference in November, discloses 46% approval for a PLO state, with 43% opposed and 12% undecided.  Last year's survey found 54% in favor, 38% opposed and 9% undecided.

The poll also shows that US Democratic Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton is supported by the majority of American Jews, followed by former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.  Clinton received a 53% approval rating, with Giuliani at 41%, with 58% of respondents affiliating with the Democratic party, 26% independent, and 15% Republican.
