Vicious Anti-Semitic Attack in South

(IsraelNN.com) Four teenaged immigrants from the former Soviet Union have been arrested for a vicious anti-Semitic assault on a hareidi-religious 12-year-old.  The four teens, ages 13 to 17, approached the boy earlier this week as he was making his way to a Torah class in his hometown in the south and began beating him.  They called the boy a “Jewish dog” and stole money that he had received as a Chanukah present.  One of the attackers urinated on the boy before running away.

The boy reported the attack to his father, who managed to question eyewitnesses and lead the police to the attackers.  Two of the attackers have admitted to their crime, while two others deny involvement.  All four have been involved in previous anti-Semitic attacks on members of the hareidi-religious community, police said.

The Jewish Agency brought over some 1,000,000 new immigrants from Russia, an estimated 300,000 of which are not Jewish.
