Military Censor Testifies Before Winograd
(IsraelNN.com) Chief Military Censor Col. Sima Vaknin-Gil testified before the Winograd Committee Tuesday.
Vaknin-Gil said that classified information was released to the media by IDF officers during the Second Lebanon War. She attributed the leaks to unclear guidelines for talking with the media.
She recommended that future media briefings during wartime be broadcast with a delay.
