Poll: Plurality Back Major Counter-Terrorist Operation

(IsraelNN.com) A plurality of 41.4 percent of respondents to a poll thinks that Israel should stage a large-scale counter-terrorist operation in Gaza, according to the weekly Panorama poll carried out for Voice of Israel government radio. The only major party to register objections to a campaign was Labor, while Kadima was split 50-50.

In other questions raised in the poll, two-thirds of the respondents objected to Israel's carrying out a strike in Iran's nuclear facilities.
