Michigan Students To Spin World Record for Dreidel (IsraelNN.com) More than 300 University of Michigan students have registered to try to establish a new world record for spinning the most dreidels at the same time. Indiana University holds the present record of spinning 716 dreidels, the traditional Chanukah toy. Melissa Morof, a 20-year-old junior at the university, said she hopes 1,000 people will join, with the possibility that each student will spin two dreidels at once at the Hillel chapter event. "They'll spin one and then quickly spin another," she said. "Our Hillel members will be checking people in and teaching them how to do this--dreidel spinning 101." ![]() Sign up for new Daily Israel Headlines: One page – All the news © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
