Muslims to Use Holocaust to Push 'Palestinian Genocide'

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) announced on Monday that it will no longer boycott Holocaust Memorial Day, a censure it has maintained since 2003, and will now, in fact, participate. The MCB has rejected Holocaust Memorial Day for not focusing on what it calls a "Palestinian genocide." The organization will focus its efforts on using the Jewish awareness day to promote interest in "all genocides".

Holocaust Memorial Day is held in the United Kingdom on January 27 each year, the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps in 1945.
