Shas party chairman Eli Yishai and Israel Is Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) party chairman Avigdor Lieberman will not be able to say their hands were clean if terrorists released Monday morning return to terror, National Union Knesset Member Effie Eitam declared.

"The government is freeing a brigade of terrorists, and they will return to terror, as has happened in the past," MK Eitam said. He stated that the chairmen of the Shas and Israel Is Our Home parties "carry full responsibility for freeing the terrorists." The release of more than 400 terrorists by Prime Minister Olmert was promised to the Palestinian Authority (PA) as a "good will" measure to bolster his standing with the Arab population.
