(IsraelNN.com) Terrorists fired a rocket from Gaza on Thursday night.  The rocket landed between one of the Jewish communities near Gaza and the Erez crossing.  No injuries were reported in the attack.

Gaza crossings have been shut down since the Hamas takeover earlier in the year.  While crossings have occasionally been opened in order to allow humanitarian aid into the area, IDF officials have expressed concern for soldiers’ safety during aid transfers, as the crossings often come under terrorist attack.  Officials toured the crossing earlier in the week in an attempt to find a solution.
