Slovakia Prevents Potential ‘Dirty Bomb’ Attack

Slovakian authorities said Thursday that they had arrested two Hungarians and a Ukrainian for selling radioactive material.  The three were selling material that could have been used to create a weapon known as a “dirty bomb.”

The three had almost half a kilogram of uranium in powder form, officials said.  They had apparently obtained the material somewhere in the former Soviet Union.
