Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman, the head of Israel Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu), said Thursday that the only solution to Israel’s conflict with the Palestinian Authority and other Arabs is a land swap and population transfer. Lieberman has often spoken in favor of giving heavily Arab parts of pre-1967 Israel to the PA while keeping Jewish areas in Judea and Samaria.
“Only in this way,” Lieberman said, “can we prevent a situation of one and a half states for one people and half a state for the second people, and reach a true solution of two states for two peoples.”
