An IDF soldier was critically injured while performing routine maintenance Wednesday night on a tank at the Shizafon Armored Corps Base in the Arava Desert.
The soldier was airlifted to the intensive care unit of Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. He is currently listed in critical condition.
This is the third training accident this month involving IDF soldiers.
