(IsraelNN.com) British members of the Likud party said Wednesday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's remark that "Jews outside of Israel have no right to participate in decisions about the future of Jerusalem" represents "an insult to Jews all over the world who have faithfully provided moral and financial support" for the Jewish state.

A statement by the British Likud group charged the Prime Minister with insulting Jews in the Diaspora and called on other Jews to join in condemning him for treating "Jerusalem as bartering currency, [which] represents the greatest act of treachery in 2,000 years of Jewish history."
