(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert agreed at Annapolis to skip over the first phase of the American Road Map, requiring the Palestinian Authority (PA) to end terror and incitement, but he told reporters that the PA must comply with the condition that no longer exists.

The Prime Minister told reporters that "this condition was stressed in the joint declaration and it is accepted by both the Americans and Palestinians," but no one noted that Israel effectively has skipped over the clause. Israel also has scrapped the Road Map plan for temporary borders for a new Arab state and has jumped to the last step of the plan, establishing final borders before an end to incitement and terror.
