The supreme court of the Israel Football Association ruled in favor of an appeal by Beitar Yerushalayim regarding the incident in Haifa last month, in which Beitar fans booed during a moment of silence for Yitzchak Rabin.
The judges wrote that Beitar cannot be found guilty of its fans' behavior because there is no article in the IFA disciplinary regulations that forbids what they did.
The court did say that the fans' behavior was "terribly wrong and shameful."
