(IsraelNN.com) MK Yuli-Yoel Edelstein (Likud) said Tuesday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was making the same mistakes in the Annapolis conference that Israeli leaders made in Oslo.  Olmert recognized the problem of Arab terrorism in his speech at the conference on Tuesday, but said he was ready to negotiate with the PA and any other Arab country despite ongoing attacks.

By abandoning demands that the Palestinian Authority recognize Israel as a Jewish state and beginning negotiations despite ongoing terrorist attacks, Olmert is sure to fail, Edelstein said.  He warned that giving in on basic demands would lead to “an increase in terrorism, certain failure of the entire process, and total chaos in the Middle East.”
