A group of illegal entrants from Palestinian Authority-controlled towns in Judea and Samaria caused a car crash on Monday as they attempted to flee from police. The crash took place in Shaar HaGai near Jerusalem.
A transit carrying the illegal entrants crashed into two private cars while attempting to circumvent a Border Police checkpoint, which was set up after the group escaped police officers a short time earlier. One of the illegal entrants was moderately wounded in the collision, and was taken to a nearby hospital. The drivers of the other vehicles were uninjured, but their cars were damaged.
