Weather: Warming Up, Cooler on Sabbath

Pleasant daytime temperatures but chilly nights are returning to Israel, with the thermometer expected to climb gradually every day this week except for a one-day drop on Thursday. However, unseasonably warm weather on Friday will quickly give way to a sharp drop in temperatures on the Sabbath and Sunday. No rain is forecast.

Temperatures Monday will reach 17 (63 F) in Jerusalem and 23 (73 F) in Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva, dropping to 8-9 degrees (46-48 F) in Jerusalem and Be'er Sheva and 12 (54 F) in Tel Aviv. Temperatures on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday will reach the mid-20s (upper 70s F).
