A majority of Palestinian Authority (PA) residents is against giving up the demand for the immigration of millions of foreign Arabs into Israel, known by Arabs as the "right of return," according to a new survey published by pollster Dr. Nabil Kukali.

A majority of the respondents also thinks that failure of the Annapolis conference will result in worsening violence. Most of those surveyed believe that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is not genuine in his efforts to secure peace and also oppose the continuing deployment of the IDF in the Jordan Valley. Almost three-quarters of the respondents oppose Israel's keeping four percent of Judea, Samaria and Gaza to include large population centers of Jews.
