"Politicians must not be allowed to divide Jerusalem," former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe "Bogey" Yaalon, said Sunday evening at a rally sponsored by the One Jerusalem organization.
"You cannot divide your soul," Yaalon said. "One must be blind not to understand that the enemy we are facing wants no compromises. One must be blind not to see that dividing the capital will bring the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, government ministries and schools into the range of Kassams."
"The politicians are not learning a lesson from the current situation in the Gaza Perimeter and Sderot," Yaalon said.
