Authorities in Peru have been working for several days to find Asher Green, an Israeli man who has not been in contact with family or friends for three weeks. Green went hiking near Arequipa, 1,300 kilometers from Lima, on November 4 and has not been heard from since.
The search began after Green’s family turned to the Foreign Ministry for help. The ministry has coordinated search efforts from Lima.
