Knesset Member Ahmed Tibi met the chief negotiator for the PA, Ahmed Qureia, 10 days ago, and handed him a document calling upon the PLO leadership not to agree to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
"The country's character must be determined in the Knesset and in its internal institutions and is not a matter for negotiations with other countries," Tibi told Abu Ala, according to a report in NRG-Maariv.
