Minister of Public Security Avi Dichter met with policemen from the Nahariya station and detectives from the Galilee Central Unit in Akko following the arrest of a group of policemen on suspicion of using bombs against a crime boss.

 "We need to remember that despite the failure in this case, the Israel Police is a healthy body, and it is the one that exposed the case and transferred it to the Police Investigations Unit," Dichter said.

"We have given the Israel Police and its officers added authority but we have not given them special rights," he said.
