Senior Fatah terrorist Ahmed Abed a-Rahman has accused Hamas of committing assassinations and arrest campaigns in Gaza and of desecrating the grave of a senior Fatah terrorist.  He accused the Al-Jazeera news agency of helping Hamas, but said the help did not matter because Hamas was losing popularity with local Arabs.

Hamas leaders have told their followers that Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas will be a legitimate target for terrorist killers if he recognizes Israel as a Jewish state or makes concessions in upcoming negotiations.  They called on PA forces to stop fighting local terrorist groups, and said Hamas members could treat the PA forces as they would treat the enemy.
