Police swooped down on sports fans in Holon, Ramat Gan and Lod Sunday morning and confiscated an arsenal of weapons and ammunition that were intended to be used during a basketball game between HaPoel Jerusalem and Macabbi Tel Aviv scheduled for Sunday night in Tel Aviv.

Police said that those arrested planned to disguise themselves as fans of HaPoel Jerusalem and set off attacks in order to disrupt the game, police said. Thirteen people, including one minor, were arrested.
