15 anti-tank missiles were stolen from an IDF base in the Golan Heights, and other weapons may also be missing. Authorities are reportedly shocked by the theft and have no idea who could have pulled it off.
An investigative officer has been assigned to look into the matter, and the Military Police, Israel Police and SHABAK have been involved in the investigation as well. Both criminal and security related scenarios are being considered.
The IDF spokesman said the missiles stolen were of the type launched from a LAU reusable single rail launcher.
