(IsraelNN.com) The director of the Defense Ministry’s Office of Emergency Management, Arnon Ben-Ami told members of the Winograd Commission that the IDF Homefront Command was delinquent in its response during the war in Lebanon.
--Vice Premier Shimon expressed his objections to Israel's re-entering Gaza, warning such a move would result in Israeli forces becoming entangled in the "mud of Lebanon". Peres explained that technological solutions will be deployed to solve the Kassam problem, in addition to diplomatic efforts.
