(IsraelNN.com) A delegation of observers from Turkey has accused Israel of deliberately destroying Muslim artifacts during construction work in the Old City of Jerusalem.  The delegation has called on Israel to immediately halt construction on a bridge leading to the Rambam (Mughrabi) gate.  The gate is the primary entrance used by non-Muslims to access the Temple Mount.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert invited the delegation to Israel to address Muslim concerns that the construction work would harm the mosque on the Temple Mount.  The delegation arrived in Israel months ago and published its conclusions in the Turkish paper Azman on Friday.
