Four Arab men from the Jab al-Mukabar neighborhood of Jerusalem are accused of murdering a fifth man who they suspected of assisting Israel in fighting terrorist groups. The four originally intended to rob the man and use his money to fund a new terrorist cell that they hoped to establish. The four kidnapped the man and questioned him about his properties, and decided to kill him when they did not like his answers.
Six other men have been indicted of helping the four from Jabal Mukabar obtain weapons. Three of the six are from Jabal Mukabar as well, while the other three are from other Arab neighborhoods in the Jerusalem area.
