Two news bills proposed by Knesset Members passed first reading Wednesday and would require that the Palestinian Authority (PA) pay for rocket damage and that the Prime Minister routinely report on his health. MK Yisrael Hasson of Israel Is Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) and Likud MK Limor Livnat introduced the bill that would make the PA liable for damage sustained by Israelis from continuing Kassam attacks.

MK Hasson told the Knesset that participants at the planned Annapolis, Maryland conference should "look at the residents of Sderot and that the proclamations at the meeting should not interrupt their ability to hear the early alarm warnings" of imminent Kassam attacks.
