Members of the Yesha Council met on Tuesday following what they termed a “difficult” meeting with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Members of the council decided to hold a mass rally in Jerusalem next Thursday, shortly before Olmert is to leave for the Annapolis conference in the United States.
The council discussed Olmert’s plans at the Annapolis conference and also his policy of freezing new construction in Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria. Members said they would increase their political activities in an attempt to change the policy.
