The high school teachers' union has accused Education Minister Yuli Tamir (Labor) of trying to enlist the support of students in the strike that now is in its 29th day. The union charged that she has spoken with the students' council about compromise proposals that have not yet been disclosed to the teachers' union.
"She has crossed the red line...with the objective of appealing to the students' security in the struggle of the teachers," the union stated.
