Reservist Killed in Golan Heights Training Accident
(IsraelNN.com) Reservist Asaf Waxman, 28, from Rishon LeTzion, was killed in a training accident involving his armored personnel carrier Monday morning, the IDF has reported. The vehicle overturned, killing Waxman and injuring four others. One of the wounded was ferried by helicopter to Nahariya Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, and the others suffered light wounds.
The death is the second in a week involving an army vehicle. A soldier in a Hummer died in a crash at the Gaza separation barrier last week.
