Egyptian Islamic cleric Sheikh Farkhat Sayeed al-Mangie has ruled that Egyptian men are forbidden to marry Israeli women, who are deemed as being outside of the control of Islam.

An Egyptian legislator has introduced a bill to make the policy law, and the Egyptian parliament will discuss it when it convenes next week.
