Police have arrested three people for allegedly eavesdropping on aides to Israel Is Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) leader and Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman. Party spokesmen said that Russian-speaking right wing activists in the country are trying to weaken the party leader.
Police charged the three suspects after Lieberman filed a complaint that opponents were spreading negative reports about a Russian billionaire who is one of the party's backers.
