IBA to go After Those Who Refuse TV Tax
The Israel Broadcast Authority (IBA) is launching a nationwide collection campaign of television and radio license fees.
The IBA has in the past dispatched inspectors to the houses of those claiming not to have televisions, even refusing to believe those who only use the sets as monitors for VCRs of DVDs.
Opponents of state-run media in Israel have repeatedly called for a boycott of the tax.
