A new project to document the experience of those who are traumatized has been launched at NATAL, the Israel Trauma Center for Victims of Terror and War.

The Tel Aviv-based Center created the project on the model of the Holocaust survivors' witness testimony project funded and initiated by Hollywood movie director Steven Spielberg. This project, too, is partially funded by Spielberg and will serve a dual purpose, as a research tool as well as a brief-therapy resource for trauma victims. 

The center sponsors numerous training programs for professionals and offers mobile outreach treatment units that travel to locations of severe trauma, such as Sderot.
