Rice Talking to PA Leaders
(IsraelNN.com) American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is conferring with top Palestinian Authority (PA) officials in Ramallah at this hour. She initially talked with top PA negotiator, Ahmed Qureia, who has adopted an adamant stance that Israel issue a strict timetable of steps towards the establishment of a new Arab state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Secretary Rice, on her eighth trip to Israel and the PA this year, now is meeting with PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
