Hundreds of people are marching down Rothschild Avenue in Tel Aviv, demanding that Israel grant asylum to African refugees who have entered the state illegally.

The marchers include African asylum seekers.

They want the government to come up with an organized policy of dealing with the refugees by giving them temporary-resident status and halting plans to evict hundreds of them.
